Cabeza de Vaca plot
In 1528 a ship crashes off the coast of Florida, killing 600 people on board. Alvar Núñez Cabeza de Vaca manages to survive the drama and travels across the continent in search of Spanish partners. Instead, he encounters an Indian tribe. Over the next eight years, he becomes acquainted with their mystical culture and becomes one of them. When the tribe comes into contact with Spanish rulers, Alvar will have to choose between his old and new life.
