Le Cou de la Girafe plot

Nine-year-old Mathilde lives with her mother Hélène since her parents' divorce and the operation of her grandfather Paul, who ran the bookshop 'Le Cou de la Girafe'. One December night, the girl goes to Paul with a letter from her grandmother, who disappeared thirty years ago, and asks him to help find her. Before the crack of dawn Mathilde and Paul leave for Biarritz where their search for the truth begins.
