Marguerite de la Nuit plot
1925. When the old doctor Faust (Jean-François Calvet), the last descendant of the legendary doctor Faust, leaves an opera show featuring the beautiful dancer Marguerite (Michèle Morgan), he is approached by a strange figure: Mr. Leon (Yves Montand). This shady person makes an interesting proposal to Faust to get to know Marguerite better. The doctor decides to accept the offer and makes a pact with Mr. Leon.
