Three Coins in the Fountain plot
"You've Never Lived Until You've Loved in Rome!"
When the young American secretary Maria Williams goes to work in Rome, she mainly hopes to meet the man of her life. Her roommates Frances and Anita immediately get her off her cloud. Wealthy and therefore interesting Italians don't get involved with secretaries and certainly not with Americans. Throwing a coin into the Trevi Fountain doesn't help either. Frances and Anita have already thrown in hundreds of cents, more than their heart's wish because they are still single. However, Maria is not discouraged, especially when she meets handsome Prince Dino di Cessi, a frantic womanizer. She is determined to ensnare him and tries every possible way to win his heart. Her faith in love radiates on to Frances and Anita, because they too decide to follow the language of their heart one more time.
