Tommy 'White Knife' Stockburn (Adam Sandler) is a man who grew up as an orphan in an Indian tribe. Painfully unfunny comedy in which the many well-known comedy heads try to be very funny, with the emphasis on trying. The humor is very childish and leads to vicarious shame rather than a smile. The film is also far too long.

A somewhat remarkable collection of sketches in the Wild West, in which the usual suspects (including David Spade, Luke Wilson, Rob Scheider) play characters. Adam Sandler glues things together as a white knife hero who grew up in an Indian tribe and goes in search of his long-lost father. It's almost cruel how this western movie spits you in the face with a production that looks neat, but only makes painfully unpleasant jokes about diarrhea farts and vile caricatures of minority groups. Then give me the raw beans from 'Blazing Saddles' (1974) or the ramen from 'Tampopo' (1985). Also burped and bland, but with so much more comedic timing and stronger jokes.

Just okay.
I am definitely not a fan of Adam Sandler. With a lot of companions, some funnier than others, the focus is not on him, but it is somewhat divided.
It benefits the film and although the playing time is about 20 minutes too long, it all looks smooth. The humor is almost levelless and therefore ideal for an evening of mindless entertainment. Taylor Lautner steals the show as far as I'm concerned. Thanks to him I had to laugh out loud at least 3 times. That is 3 times more than expected.
