Samantha Blake is a twenty-five-year-old designer. She makes clothes for the common woman, the woman who doesn't have the money to buy haute couture. Yet her designs can lie next to those of the greatest couturiers. So they are imitations. In the evening, Samantha wanders through the exclusive boutiques and copies the designs. Steve Sherman is a journalist, but above all a womanizer. His passion breaks his heart when he has an adventure with his boss's beautiful wife. Samantha and Steve's paths cross in Paris.
