Janine di Giovanni, the editor of the newspaper “Newsweek Middle East editor” tries to paint a picture of the war in Syria in this documentary. Her bosses actually don't allow it, because it's simply too dangerous for journalists, but di Giovanni decides to go there anyway. While she and her team are in constant danger, they portray the suffering of the Syrian people in a sometimes painful way.
