Beatrice Cenci plot
In 16th century Italy, Beatrice, daughter of Francesco, lives in a cellar where she is constantly abused. Together with her stepmother, his servant and the bandit Catalano, she then forges a plan to murder her father, which subsequently causes a lot of uproar within the Roman Catholic Church.
