Sandrine is thirty years old. She is obliged to go back to live with her mother in Roubaix. Unemployed, she accepts a job with her uncle in a kennel, which turns out to be the center of a trade in dogs coming from the countries of the east. She soon gains authority and respect in this male environment and earns money. But sometimes good soldiers stop obeying.

A young woman adrift. A thirtysomething asking what am I going to do with my life. Unemployed, lost an apartment, no more money, then back to the parental home, where her brother and sister-in-law have also moved in. Recognizable? Very recognizable. Nice role from Louise Bourgoin and it's no punishment to watch her, little androgynous type with that short hair. She goes to work in her uncle's dog kennel and becomes entangled in his shady dog business.
It's not a big drama, but our daily life usually isn't either. That makes the film strong, and the role of Louise Bourgoin, who carries the film effortlessly. The film does not answer all questions. And you also regularly think 'girl, is that useful?' But such is life. People are often not that handy. The title refers to a song by Florent Pagny from 2013, which mother and daughter are quite touched by. A poetic moment.
