"There's no such thing as coincidence. Everything is meant to be. One thing leads to another. Always..."

Bettien, a nice and spontaneous girl, is about to start her own business with her boyfriend Paul in Mallorca, Spain. However, their plan is brutally disrupted. But Bettien is determined to make the dream come true. She leaves for Mallorca all alone and leaves everything that is dear to her. In Mallorca she becomes acquainted with a new world, the jet set, a world unreachable for her. But very intriguing. Yet that world turns out not to be so out of reach when she meets a certain Alberto Morientes, who introduces her to a life full of glitter and glamour. When Alberto has to leave Mallorca due to circumstances, she is forced to go to Colombia.
