And of course on Sunday I got to work on a 'classic' from the war genre, or at least I hoped for one, with an oldie for that matter, a title that sounds like a bell with matching artwork and a real war hero in front of the camera.

But with the title in mind, it is immediately hard to swallow when I read the synopses here on MovieMeter and I wonder how they can link such a title to such a story. Admittedly, these are forgotten stories, the provisioning of such a guerrilla army and the sacrifices there that are forgotten compared to the large battlefields and turning points. Yet, in these places, human lives were also quietly sacrificed, something that we only see again in part. Moreover, I would have expected at least the marines in action on Beach Red or Dog One of Tarawa, Okinawa or one of the Marianas, but enough whining about that now.

Then the film also loses all interest in downright uninteresting fuss and a lot, a lot of bullshit. Then it also seems to mainly revolve around finding Ruth Benson and it is also the question whether she can walk normally or whether this is due to her considerable front. You guessed it I can't take it seriously and therefore find it a first class crap film. Quickly on to the next one.
