Een Pak Slaag plot

Hein Slotter (Kees Brusse), director of the Slieps pram factory, is preparing for its 25th anniversary. The editorial staff of the staff magazine wants to publish facts from Slotter's past and asks the staff for stories. At the same time, a committee prepares the festivities. Kees, the son of Slieps and supplanted by his brother-in-law Slotter as his father's successor, is part of the committee. Slieps, an old and senile man, will give a speech at Slotter's request in which he -hopes and expects Slotter- will approach his successor positively in order to strengthen his position and self-esteem. An employee of the company makes up the story of a beating that Slotter once received. This story takes on a life of its own after the narrator's death.
