Witnesses of Doom plot
Exclusive fragments of long-lost 1948 interviews with witnesses to Hitler's last days, conducted by American author Michael Musmanno. He interviewed, among others, secretary Traudl Junge, driver Erich Kempka, former youth leader Artur Axmann and a sister of Eva Braun. They talk about the stay in the bunker of the Reich Chancellery in Berlin at the end of April 1945, Hitler's suicide and the recovery of the bodies. Back in the US, Musmanno described the results of his research in 'Ten days to Die'. The film was thought lost after his death in 1968, but was found more than 60 years later.
