During a train journey on the Trans-Europe Express from Paris to Antwerp, two filmmakers and an assistant discuss an idea for a crime thriller that starts on this train. When they see a passenger with a large suitcase, they decide to designate him as the protagonist in a screenplay in which this man travels to Antwerp to smuggle a load of cocaine to Paris from there.
