Les Êtres Chers plot

Guy's tragic death comes as a shock to the Leblanc family. For many years, however, the true facts of his death have been hidden from some members of the family, including his son David. David in turn starts a family himself with his wife Marie. He lovingly raises his two children Laurence and Frédéric, but deep in his heart there is a persistent, melancholic feeling.

After a rushed start, in which events follow each other at a furious pace, a sensitive drama develops about the relationship of a caring puppet maker (damaged by a traumatic experience) with his energetic daughter. An occasionally penetrating film that leaves a number of questions unanswered. Beautiful renditions of Maxim Gaudette and Karelle Tremblay.
