By all accounts, Scott (Dean Cain) and Laci were the perfect couple, at least until Christmas Eve 2002 when eight months pregnant Laci suddenly disappears. Family and friends help Scott in his desperate quest that soon sweeps the country under its spell. Told from the point of view of Laci's friends, the story is the tale of the search for Laci and the series of shocking revelations that surface.
