Deutschland Bleiche Mutter plot

Germany 1939: Hans and Lene get married the day before the war breaks out. Hans is sent to the Eastern Front. Meanwhile, Lene turns out to be pregnant. She gives birth during a bombing raid. Their house is destroyed and she goes to live with acquaintances. Lene does everything to keep herself and her daughter alive. After the war Hans returns, but he is no longer the same as in 1939. It is very difficult for the couple to resume normal family life.
