Roermondse Adel - Een Familie Epos plot

Roermondse Adel is a documentary about the somewhat infamous Roermond family Fermont. The Fermonts are headstrong and passionate, and often have a difficult relationship with civil society. By developing their musical and commercial talents in particular, they managed to escape the poverty that prevailed in the underprivileged neighborhoods of Roermond until the middle of the 20th century. The life of the Fermonts is closely intertwined with the counterculture, which emerges from deep within the genesis of 'bourgeois society' and expresses the difficult integration of working-class families for almost a century and a half. With their own stories, images, emotions and passions. The Fermonts have a direct and pure way of life in which joy and pleasure, anger and sadness, are close to the surface.
