The fourth film adaptation of Mark Twain's novel "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court" from 1889. This after the 1921 film adaptation of the same name, A Connecticut Yankee and A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court.

The English title "Unidentified Flying Oddball" differs from the traditional title "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court." Other examples are Black Knight and A Knight in Camelot[/ URL]. In 1995 Walt Disney Pictures made a new version under the title [url=https://www.moviemeter.nl/film/7356]A Kid in King Arthur's Court. In this film adaptation, Ron Moody once again played the role of Merlin. Moody played the role of King Arthur in an episode of Highway to Heaven. This was the last movie for Kenneth More. The actor died on July 12, 1982 at the age of 67. This was also the last American Hollywood soundtrack by composer Ron Goodwin. After The Jesus Trip this was the second and last film by director Russ Mayberry. Throughout his career, he mainly worked for television. Merlin's receptionist voice was dubbed by Jean Anderson. Actor Roy Kinnear was considered for the role of Clarence. Harry Andrews was offered the part of Sir Gawaine. The Stardust is now in a very old fairground/theme park called Blackgang Chine on the Isle of Wight in the UK. Visitors used to be able to explore the interior, but it is now off limits. However, it is possible to view it from the outside.

Slightly less than its predecessors, but reasonably entertaining for enthusiasts.
