Kyojin to Gangu plot
In a rapidly changing and capitalist society, the companies World, Apollo and Giants compete in the caramel industry. After World-executive Nishi gets wind of an upcoming marketing campaign from Giants, he also has a campaign launched for which the cheerful and childlike Kyoko models. Nishi's campaign is a success and Kyoko becomes a star. But then Apollo is forced to cut back on gas due to production problems, which means that market share is up for grabs. The urge for success then becomes too great for Nishi and his colleagues, leaving them unable to act rationally and conscientiously.
