When female students are murdered in Rome, the police find themselves at a dead end. The only clue they have is a red-black scarf. American student Jane and her friends are on vacation after a long study period. They go to Danielle's uncle who owns a villa in a small town. Unfortunately, the killer is near them.

Beautifully shot film with beautiful ladies who, of course for reasons that are unclear, don't get off well. The kills are amusingly clumsy, the humor is wrong and the setting and music is atmospheric. The climax seems to be long-winded, but it isn't.

Quite entertaining at times, but I didn't really fall off my chair either. I Corpi Presentano Tracce di Violenza Carnale is a kind of early slasher, where a masked killer keeps house among students. In addition, there is quite a dash of sleaze and eroticism, with quite a few beautiful naked young ladies passing by - although most of them don't end well. Maybe I also picked up the film at the wrong time, but I found the film just a bit dragging, especially in terms of story and tension I was not really drawn in. Sometimes pretty nice shots, that's for sure, although that is also partly canceled out by occasionally very bad effects (someone who falls from a balcony, and then seems to jump five meters from another shot, that kind of work ). Not bad in its genre, but unfortunately it's not my genre.

Well, almost a perfect giallo for me, just like alexspyforever already described 3 years ago 
very unfortunate about the weak finale and that the bloody murder of the 3 women was not shown. Very atmospheric, fast pace, some nudity, beautiful women, some very successful gory scenes and good camera work. The scenes from the killer's perspective are used well and add to the tension. The first half is very strong with some great scenes. The scene when Suzy Kendall discovers the murder of the 3 women and is locked in her room is magnificent.
