The film is in some ways very reminiscent of monster movies from the 50s or 60s. How so? Well, for a number of reasons. The film has a monster that is clearly a man in a suit. Furthermore: Dialogues that, despite the panic, continue to sound formal and harsh. Tireless, solid and reliable main characters. Wooden acting. Disaster that unfolds rather pettily. Weak sfx. And a finale in which the danger is neutralized in a silly and bombastic way.

There are also differences. A big difference with monster films from years ago is the use of gore and the amount of blood that flows. Always good, of course, but here the small budget visibly takes its toll. There is a lot of everything, but it does not look convincing.

Another notable difference is the following. Almost without exception, every female character takes off her clothes. This happens often and for no apparent reason and is pure exploitation. The nudity scenes are distracting and are clearly intended to mask the lack of a substantive story. How does that story go? Well, an alien monster has a bad habit of raping virgins. A beautiful female doctor (who stubbornly keeps the clothes on) and a police inspector try to solve these crimes very clumsily. And that takes 77 minutes. No, the story really doesn't amount to much.

It's that the film has a reasonable pace, there is some nudity and the running time is not on the long side. So it always balances on the edge of doable. I almost killed this bad film prematurely. Always just not done.

Horny and dirty both start with a G, the makers must have thought. I expected this cheap B-movie to be nothing and it was nothing. As soon as women appear on screen, they take off their clothes and their breasts and nipples are zoomed in on all too happily. In addition to the soft porn, you also have a few dirty scenes, one of which is very bizarre towards the end with naked women (again!) moaning in a sperm bath . The story is worthless and seems to have been written in one evening

Yeah, I can see why Theunissen is crazy about this. Almost every woman here is pretty much naked and almost every scene is like that. Sometimes even for irrelevant reasons. Oh yeah, we also have to deal with an alien mutant - say a guy in a body suit, because that creature had very human traits at times.

So there is no lack of nudity, but there is also enough gore present. Especially when the alien takes control of human bodies and the victims scream in pain and fear. Of course a B-movie, and I was bothered by the passive behavior of some when they were staring at the horror. Not very well acted, but entertaining.

With its 77 minutes a nice snack. That Kim Kincaid also had a foot in Necropolis with Baker in the lead role. Here with a smaller role though. A film with the status 'bad' which makes it good/entertaining!
