It's been a long time since I saw this one again, but today I was looking forward to it. Sometimes a bit bland or dated... it's okay, but the entertainment value is 'sky high' again. The scenes in the boxing ring in particular are hilarious. and furthermore, the story is slightly better than is normally the case with Abbott & Costello. Not their very best, that is of course still A & C meets Frankenstein, but this one is not far below.......Forget Rocky,Louie the Looper rules.

Very entertaining film, but I say that more often than not (fortunately) with an Abbott & Costello film. For me, this series is one of the better work of these gentlemen so far. (I saw Meet Frankenstein & Meet The Killer before.) It's a shame that Vincent Price, who had a small cameo as The Invisible Man in Meet Frakenstein, is here. didn't take on the role, I imagine they really did ask.

3.5 stars are again in order!

Another successful film from Abbott and Costello. Both gentlemen now use their middle names as Bud Alexander and Lou Francis. Originally intended as a real film from "The Invisible Man" series, but after the enormous success of Bud Abbott Lou Costello Meet Frankenstein the script was rewritten to turn it into an exciting comedy again. Various shots from The Invisible Man Returns were used for the film. Even the plot of both films is similar. Lou Costello was a former amateur boxer under his nickname "Lou King." This was to prevent his mother from finding out. However, after 32 victories he was eliminated, and his boxing career came to an end.

An old-fashioned comedy with nice references to The Invisible Man.

3.0 *
