Bangiku plot
The film follows four women who used to be popular geishas, but are now too old to earn money that way. Kin was the only one to save money and now lends money to others, spending all day collecting debts, even from her best friends Tomi, Nobu and Tamae, who used to be geishas too. In addition, Tomi and Tamae each have a child who is about to get married, something they have a hard time accepting.
