The diabolical crime syndicate Thanatos wants to take over the world with the help of a magnetic wave generator that will stop all metal-based machines. Since the well-known British secret agent normally assigned to such duties is not available, they hire his civilian brother, Neil Connery. A world-class plastic surgeon, hypnotist and lip reader, he proves exactly the skills required to destroy Thanatos.

That was weird...
Half the cast of the early James Bond films, supplemented with Sean Connery's brother in a kind of spin-off that doesn't exactly run smoothly. The story really couldn't captivate, my brother is a worthless actor and humor in perspective was also hard to find. The shot from above the Alcazaba, looking down on the arena of Malaga I personally liked because I'd been there. Apart from that not much.

Not a rip-off, but a spin-off. Sean Connery's considerably less talented brother plays the title role (himself) and Bond actors Bernard Lee and Lois Maxwell are supposed to increase the credibility of this film. Unfortunately, none of the four screenwriters seem to have any knowledge of the spy genre and the only entertainment value of this film can be found in a number of campy sets full of scantily clad young women and an overly present score that balances on the edge of plagiarism... and not only of the Bond films. But otherwise this is abominable.
