In November 1996, seventeen-year-old Jeni Wendorf comes home from work one evening to discover the bodies of her parents, Ruth and Rick Wendorf, who have been brutally beaten to death. This random, ritualistic murder shocks the residents of the quiet Florida town of Eustis. Sheriff Mike Dane must find out what happened. The trail leads to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where a group of violent youths led by charismatic 17-year-old Rob Ferrell is in custody. They call themselves the Vampire Clan.
