Fickle revenge.
Despite some cult value, there isn't actually all that much to enjoy in this forgotten revenge movie with a horror feel from the wonderful 70s. Hutton is terrifying, but the script is anything but. The inconsistent acting performances and the lack of the right dose of scary moments are partly to blame for this.

Pretty decent 70s horror with kills that are a bit reminiscent of those from the Final Destination series.
Here, however, is not death itself, but an innocent convict taking revenge on everyone responsible for his imprisonment .... and the butcher around the corner.
Good pace, better acting than usual in this genre.

Surprisingly nice and even somewhat atmospheric supernatural thriller with a low-budget B-movie vibe, but that is no problem at all for elevating the film above mediocrity.
The revenge element is unfortunately rather weakly developed and could have made the film even better with a bit more attention.
