During a car race, Daphne (Veronica Carlson) and Billy (Stewart Bevan) run out of gas. Daphne sends Billy to a gas station, while she goes to the nearby house. There she meets Dr. Lawrence (Peter Cushing), an ex-priest with a horrifying secret: he keeps his disfigured son locked in the attic and feeds him on the bodies of bums and passers-by, like Daphne...
