The Death of "Superman Lives": What Happened? plot
In the 90s, film studio Warner Brothers tries to breathe new life into one of their most popular licenses, Superman. Several screenwriters, directors and actors are associated with the project, but in the end the film studio decides to hire Tim Burton as a director with Nicolas Cage in the role of Superman. After months of pre-production, the film studio suddenly pulls the plug on the very expensive project. Nearly two decades later, director Jon Schnepp, himself a huge Superman fan, decides to find out what happened back then.
