25 years ago, he was dishonorably discharged from the Navy for driving the car that ran over his girlfriend. Now he is a diamond dealer and a girl who looks just like her gets into his car. When, against the odds, he sees her again, he proposes to her. However, he has fits of jealousy and hallucinates that she is making love to everyone. However, he does not want to tell her who her doppelganger in his life was and needs a proof of loyalty.
