The Trench plot

Northern France, late June 1916. A group of young British soldiers prepare for a confrontation with the Germans. 17-year-old Billy MacFarlane and his fellow soldiers have just thoughtlessly signed up to fight against the Germans. Now, in the trenches waiting for the signal to attack, they realize what they have started. They try in all kinds of ways to distract themselves until the moment that they have to attack the German opponents who are in the trenches opposite them. These are the last hours before the infamous 'Battle of the Somme'.
