Les Filles du Botaniste plot
China during the 80s. Not all taboos are gone yet. Min, a young orphan goes to study with a renowned botanist. He lives on a deserted island that he has transformed into a luxurious garden. His daughter An, who is tired of living her life in solitude and seclusion, is eagerly awaiting the student's arrival. Things soon get complicated when the two young ladies fall in love.
