Blood Pigs plot

"When Starvation Breeds Desperation...Eat The Dead"

99% of the world has been destroyed by biochemical war. The soil is polluted so that people hardly get any food. Survivors hunt the living dead for food. However, this has dire consequences, as the dead flesh reacts to the chemicals in the air. This causes the digestive system to evolve and work its way out of the body to search for food on its own.

Content-wise a big flop and to be honest I wasn't that interested. The film is low budget and the acting is dramatic. The camera work is also of a poor standard. At times quite shocking and that irritates quickly.

But what a decoration. The zombies did look good. Here and there a bit too much pop or rather skeletons with some flesh on them, but very well done within this budget. A film within the gore & splatter genre. Well, you can take that literally. What a feast of blood fountains! One after the other, it squirts, runs and flows on all sides. No less is more here, sometimes even a bit too much, because it is much of the same. Still a big compliment for the approach to this. The splatter is central and you will have noticed...
