A very bad movie in every way. Of course you can expect that when you see the list of names associated with this production. Moreover, the synopsis does not give any reason to expect anything else.

Still, watching such a sad exploitation film is nice every now and then. It is, however, the intention that such a genre film does not take itself seriously. There must be a lot of winking. Bad acting, bad effects and ridiculous monsters are part of it. That's part of the fun.

While watching this film, I noticed that the film flouts this rule. The film does seem to take itself seriously. The film isn't deliberately badly put together, it's just unintentionally bad. Wrong lot! So that's not right.

To indicate how bad the film is, the following: Lords acts with the most conviction. That says enough, I think.

The title of the film is beautiful, by the way. That is as it should be.

Haha, that Wynorski! What more to say. The best man knows no shame. For ''good'' work (if there ever was one) I actually don't take his more recent broods anymore, for that you really have to go 20-30 years back in time. Although Piranhaconda (2011) was also good for 3.5*. Anyway: Sharkansas Women's Prison Massacre puts the money where its mouth is and clings desperately to the ingredients the title promises. Funny, very bad stuff from a veteran of the cheap ass monster pulp.

Watched today, somewhat unusual film about a group of prisoners (women) who have to deal with a shark that lives in the water, but also in the sand.

There are also some guards and a few more people, no high story, no nudity, no gore.

Found him actually quite boring because there was more talk than action.

The shark itself was nice and the location was also okay, but otherwise nothing special.
