Abouna plot
When Tahir and Amine wake up one morning, they learn that their father secretly left. Their disappointment is even greater when they realize that he would be refereeing a football match among neighborhood children that day. The two children decide to search the streets of the city and check out all the places he frequented. But without result. They give up their search and wander aimlessly through the streets, skip school and go into hiding in movie theaters. One evening they think they recognize their father on the screen in semi-darkness. The two brothers decide to steal the film reels.

Anyone who thought they were seeing a film typical of Africa, with poverty, abuses and war violence, was wrong.
The story that is told is one of all time and can occur in many places in the world.
It's not all that spectacular, on the contrary very austere and all the frills are really thrown overboard and after all, that is precisely the beauty of the film. The film is not overloaded with actors and those who participate are convincing in their roles.
