A truly terrible film. Incredibly clichéd, terribly acted, and incredibly awful effects. The plot is also ridiculous, especially how that idiotic relationship suddenly develops between the two leads. And I really felt like punching Roy from Discovery Channel in the face. Jaws 3 and 4 were much better than this garbage.

1 star for effort.

I can understand that sometimes not much happens in a shark movie, but then also include those moments to build some tension. And when sharks do appear, they're never threatening. Simply showing a shark with large teeth isn't enough anymore. You'd be better off watching National Geographic, where you get more explanation. It's also far from beautiful, and the acting is truly a sequel to a B-movie. Definitely not recommended.
