"A Boulting Bros. Thriller With a Difference!"
A scientist wants to force the government of England to stop nuclear weapons production. To back up his claim, he steals an atomic bomb. Scotland Yard agents try to stop him. They get help from the future son-in-law of the scientist's assistant.

Good film in which a scientist threatens to explode an atomic bomb in London. This thriller is set in post-war London. Apart from the finale, the film may lack some tension, but it is all built up well. Also quite grand in scale (especially how the entire city and government deals with the threat).

the lack of tension in this otherwise nice thriller does the film no good, otherwise beautiful images of an empty London, but there is just not enough that really puts you as a viewer on the edge of your seat.
Jones plays the derailed scientist well.
