In itself, a story like this could turn out quite well in a film...if it is well and enjoyable worked out.

In this film we see how it shouldn't be done through bad acting and stupid sentences that are uttered, also visually a lot is missing and with a bit more budget it could have been made a lot more.

With their debut film, "Body," directors Dan Berk and Robert Olsen have created a superb thriller. The thriller, which revolves around three young women friends and an unwanted corpse, provides the viewer with excellent entertainment. Despite its short 75-minute running time, the film takes its time introducing the three women. While enjoyable and a valuable addition to the experience, the film's short running time does come at the expense of the core story, which has been allocated for approximately 50 minutes.

A lovely story, by the way, that's a series of bad decisions. These raise moral questions that are repeatedly rejected and defended by one of the very different women. These questions and decisions put a strain on the friendship and create tension.

The film has a serious tone, yet its absurd progression manages to be simultaneously humorous. The surprising and predictable plot twists follow each other quickly, creating a fast-paced experience. It's a real shame that the running time is so short. Just as the story flows and the tension mounts, the film suddenly ends. The positive aspect of this is that boredom doesn't stand a chance. The negative aspect is that you're left with the feeling that the film hasn't fully realized the story's potential, and therefore the ending comes too quickly and isn't entirely satisfying.

Anyway. Body is just a fun film that, while not particularly innovative, manages to entertain the viewer. It's also a film that shows how moral principles become less and less important when one's own skin is on the line. And all of this is fast-paced, reasonably exciting, and with a touch of humor here and there. Pretty enjoyable.
