"On their 16th wedding anniversary, Deborah and Nick decided to work out all their differences... in public."
To celebrate their 16th wedding anniversary, attorney Nick Fifer and his wife Deborah go shopping. At the mall, Nick confesses to his wife that he is cheating. She is furious and insists on filing for divorce right away. During the division of their joint things, Deborah tells that she is also having an affair. Now Nick in turn wants a divorce, but the last word has not yet been spoken!

As a fan, I always enjoy seeing Woody Allen, it is a fact that the dialogues do not burst out, but it is all very entertaining.
Woody & Bette are a nice couple and they have enough chemistry together to carry this simple film head and shoulders.
Not special, but certainly a must see for the fans, I often had a smile on my face.

Mediocre film in which a couple spend their 16th wedding anniversary bickering in a shopping center. The film certainly starts off nicely, but once in the shopping center it quickly becomes repetitive. One of the few films in which Woody Allen only appears as an actor, and perhaps because of this the dialogues are less sharp. Bette Midler and Woody Allen are doing fine. Just under 3.0 stars.
