"The Landmark Trial That Forever Changed A Nation."
Tennessee, 1925. Because young teacher Bertram Cates is arrested for teaching Darwin's theory of evolution to his students. Thus he is confronted with the conservative forces in American society. With the support of famed attorney Clarence Darrow, Bertram decides to fight. It promises to be a long, hard battle, in which tradition and progress will be pitted against each other.
