Marie lives with Paul, but after a few months he no longer feels the need to have sex with her, although he flirts with many other women. Marie genuinely loves Paul, but she also has a great need for sex. She goes outside to seek refuge and picks up the Latin lover Paolo in a cafe. The sex with him is good, but she knows she will never be able to love him. With her boss, she begins a cautious S&M relationship.
