Five years ago, masked serial killer Trevor Moorehouse used a chainsaw to slaughter the leadership of vacation camp Placid Pines one by one during "Bloody Murder," his favorite game. 'Bloody Murder' was not played for five years. Now the summer is over, the guests have left and the young camp leaders are sitting around the campfire on their last evening. Then they make a fatal mistake: they decide to play 'Bloody Murder'. The game begins. Then the first camp leader disappears. And the next. And the next?

A nice, relaxing movie, but you have to look elsewhere for the quality. Weak actors and a clumsy story that's not even original. Two stars because it didn't irritate me in the end...

Slightly better than the previous installment because this second chapter has a faster pace, but it remains a copycat mess with little creativity and a lack of personal input from the creators. The killer wears a different mask, and Halloween should have become a new theme somewhere (wherever that may be), but the predictable progression and poorly executed murders severely hinder that. It's the fact that the action here gets off to a much faster start that earns a half-star rating; otherwise, this would easily have been on the same level as the first film.
