"Sometimes you have to break the rules to free your heart."
Stella is a successful businesswoman in her forties. She is urged by her friend Delilah to take a well-deserved vacation in Jamaica. After feeling like she's wasting her precious time on the island, she meets the young Jamaican Winston, and they have a passionate affair. This forces Stella to review her life, and to find a balance between her desire for love and companionship on the one hand, and the responsibilities of a mother and successful businesswoman on the other.
