Something Weird plot

After a horrific accident, mutilated Mitchell makes a deal with a witch, who gives him psychic powers. However, Mitchell has no intention of going astray and decides to use his powers to help the police untangle a killer.

Well, it's definitely a middle-of-the-road film. I kind of miss the cheesy gore effects in this Lewis.
Furthermore, the acting is (as expected) again abysmal, but the flawed character of the witch manages to hold her own.
A somewhat tame film by Lewis' standards, but it is still very entertaining here and there.
A film for the select few shlock lovers.

My first Herschel Gordon Lewis, I think... Now, I think this isn't a great start anyway. I didn't find the story particularly captivating. Still, the oddities kept my attention. Not much gore, though. The witch was actually the most fun character to follow. No, this is definitely not my thing. 4/10
