That such a musical is sentimental, romantic, superficial and simple, I can understand, but here there is little musically brought, except for the title song. The rest is all too much as "already heard and seen".
Miss Doris Day and Gordon MacRae, Doris' partner in "Tew for Two", do their utmost.

Nice film about a family that moves to a new house and gets to know the neighborhood. There is no real story, but there are many entertaining situations. An innocent, comic musical that takes place in 1917. A bit too tame, but it is easy to watch. Easily 3.0 stars.
