The Red Sneakers plot

17-year-old Knicks fan Reggie Reynolds has only one dream: to become a professional basketball player and become the pride of the family. During late training, he meets Zeke, a collector who offers Reggie to pick something up from his store. Reggie's eyes fall on a pair of 60-year-old red sneakers. These appear to have been worn by Willie Slocum, 'The Wizard of the Harlem Hens'. The sneakers seem to help Reggie, during a tryout for his coach he plays the stars from heaven. Diamond, a man with connections, sees a superstar in Reggie. But Reggie's mother's choice is made and she wants him to finish school. What dream will Reggie fulfill?
