Malaya plot

"When you kiss a girl in Malaya...keep your eyes wide open and a gun in your hand!"

After living abroad for several years, journalist John Royer returns to the United States after they have just entered World War II. He manages to convince the government to appoint him to smuggle rubber out of Malaya. A figure from Royer's past, Carnahan, is brought out of Alcatraz Prison to assist him. Together they travel to the southeastern part of Asia and put their smuggling plan into action.
