"We're back for another Christmas on 7 Cherry Lane, this time in 1960, 1998, and 2015."
Three very different families celebrate Christmas Eve in the same house on Cherry Lane, spanning many years. In 1960, writer Eli and his hairdresser wife, Penny, help their son create a Christmas-themed time capsule, but Eli's irascible father makes it difficult for him to complete the job. In 1998, an unexpected Christmas romance blossoms in the life of widow Regina when contractor Nelson is unable to leave her house due to a snowstorm. And in 2015, Jessie must help her sister plan a Christmas wedding, officiated by her childhood sweetheart, Tim, who has broken her heart.
