Baus: The Ship's Voyage Continues plot

Clumsy brothers Saneo and Hajime leave their lives in a fishing village in Aomori to move to 1920s Tokyo and pursue a career in film. Hajime works as a narrator for silent films, but his unusual approach doesn't win him many fans. The cinema owner, however, is impressed with Saneo and lets him take over the cinema during his absence. The war and the postwar years take their toll, however, and Saneo and his wife Hama face many setbacks.
