Real Fiction plot

Zach, a talented writer, devoted son, and partner to AJ, is both ambitious and impatient. Success as a writer seems impossibly unattainable after exhausting every avenue and finding himself without the money to provide his ailing mother with the proper treatment. It seems miraculous when Damien, an influential publisher, shows interest and agrees to take Zach on as a client.
